Sage Engineering has extensive and unique experience in the design of systems and facilities for industrial clients worldwide. Sage is a specialist in the design of dust collections systems, and has designed systems up through 100,000 CFM of capacity, with corresponding required makeup air systems of even larger capacities. Dust collection systems have the unique requirements of system balancing by design, rather than through the use of volume dampers, and Sage's knowledge and experience with work of this nature enables us to design systems that maintain appropriate carrying velocities and exhaust volumes without introducing dampers that would create obstructions in the flow of the exhausted media. Sage has designed dust collection systems for lead dust, wood dust, paper dust and phenolic resin dust.

Sage's experience with Plant Engineering also includes the design of systems and equipment for storage, mixing, cooling and distribution of sulphuric acid. Sage has provided engineering services for acid handling in locations that include China, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, California and New Jersey.
